Belt-and-braces export: generate or download a full denormalised CSV snapshot of all transactions.

What this is for

• Disaster recovery: a canonical recovery artefact.
• Audit support: a single-file snapshot for examiners (as permitted).
• Operational continuity: provides a human-readable record of all transactions that can be used outside the application if required.

How it runs

The snapshot is generated on demand — there is no automated schedule. Admins should regenerate it after any significant batch of transaction entry, before providing data to an independent examiner, and as part of the monthly operational checklist. The System Info page shows the modification timestamp of the most recent snapshot file.

Governance

• Restrict who can generate/download the master snapshot.
• Ensure export actions are logged.
• Store snapshots outside webroot where possible.
